Today was/is the day to become a Suckle Busters fan for me. Nothing but positive reviews, so I took the leap, er step, and ordered the choice of six rubs, a free shirt, and free shipping. I tried to order rubs and spices that were all a bit different in make-up, and other than the High Walker, rubs for meats and slow cooks that I was low or out of. Will be trying "Mo", er more as we go.
Shout out to Joe-Joe Torres, hope you are feeling better. Took me a day to start with the "Mo-Joe" as we had marinated lamb chops to cook last night. I went with the recipe on the side of the bottle for grilled shrimp, and the slaw recipes. Everything smelled really good when I mixed it up, and put the shrimp and slaw into bags. I don't know what happened, but later when I opened the bag with the shrimp to give it another smell, the flavors really started to bloom, and the lime flavor really came alive. The slaw ( best "homemade slaw I have ever had/made smelled and looked so good, I couldn't wait, and grabbed a fork.
I cooked the shrimp and heated up the corn tortillas on a cast iron grill pan on my grill. The smell, along with the simmering noise, was almost as good as the finished, highly delicious, and high quality meal that I enjoyed. Tex-Mex flavor is going to be a welcome addition to my grilling, slow-cooks and smoking with the help of Suckle Busters. Packing is fantastic, and these are big)bigger bottles than many. And I was happily surprised to find these fresh products had an expiration date of 2025 on all I received.
Tonight will be the chicken wing seasoning rub, along with some also mixed with the Bamm! Habenero for my daughter. Made the mistake of smelling that one, and that rub should be renamed Sinus-Cleaner. ;-)
