What changes this year
Every photo here comes straight from Dan's own turkey cook.

2Honey BBQ Rub goes on both sides, and its sugar and honey cook into a deep golden crust. A layer of Sugar Daddy on top takes it sweeter.

3Brush Honey Peach Glaze on for the last 30 minutes. The skin turns glossy and sweet, with no heat, so the kids will eat it too.
Honey Peach GlazeWatch Dan cook it
Dan brines a whole turkey, splits it, seasons it, smokes it and glazes it in under 7 minutes of video. Watch it once and you'll know exactly what to do with this box.

The game plan
This is the same plan Dan follows. The turkey does most of the work in the fridge while you sleep.
Boil the herb packet in water, stir in the seasoning and cool it down with ice. Seal the turkey in the brine bag and keep it in the fridge overnight.
Drain the bird and pat it dry. Cut out the backbone, press it flat and shake Honey BBQ Rub on both sides. Want it even juicier? Inject the Poultry Marinade.
Skin side up until the thickest part of the breast reads 165°F. No smoker? An oven at the same temperature works.
Brush on Honey Peach Glaze. Reach for the Honey BBQ Glaze if you want a deeper red.
Take the legs and wings off first, then slice the breast on a diagonal. Wait for the compliments.
What's in the box
Enough for the big bird, with rub and glaze left over for chicken nights, wings and the Christmas ham.

Herb packet, brine seasoning and a heavy-duty brine bag. Brines 1 extra-large turkey or 2 smaller birds.

Add 16 oz of white wine or chicken stock. Marinates up to 10 lbs, or inject it.

Sugar and honey up front, a little chile at the end. Dan's rub for the holiday turkey.

The sweetest rub in Texas. Layer it on top, or save it for a Sugar Daddy ham.

Our #1 seller for chicken. Sweet, savory and a little smoky from chipotle.

Our Honey BBQ Glaze and Peach BBQ Sauce in one bottle. Brush it on the last 30 minutes.

The glaze that's been winning BBQ competitions for years. Deep red, with no heat.
The math
Bought one at a time, this lineup runs $67.93. Grab the bundle and keep $7.96 for the cranberry sauce.

No. Dan smokes his at 325 to 350°F, and an oven at the same temperature works too. Either way, cook until the thickest part of the breast reads 165°F.
No. Drain it and pat it dry with paper towels. USDA advises against rinsing raw poultry because it spreads bacteria around the sink.
The Honey BBQ Rub is mild and both glazes have no heat at all. Clucker Dust brings a medium, smoky warmth from chipotle.
