Brisket & Beef Rubs

Brisket rubs from Texas, where brisket gets taken seriously. The classic is salt, black pepper and garlic, and that's the base of most of the rubs on this page.

Dan's own brisket gets a thin coat of Worcestershire, SPG, then 1836 Beef Rub for a dark, peppery bark, and a light layer of Sugar Daddy on top. Want a milder, more traditional BBQ flavor? Texas Brisket Rub adds paprika and a little sugar. These all work on ribeyes and prime rib too.
